Hide or Show Causes
The Hide-Show Causes tool lets users condense the Realitychart by hiding select causes and cause paths to improve the focus of your analysis.
To hide causes you must first select which ones are to be hidden. Click once on the colored cause type heading to select an individual cause and hold down the Shift key while doing this to select multiple causes anywhere on the workspace.
To select a cause path, double click the cause type heading on the first cause in the path.
To deselect individual causes, hold down the Shift key while the other causes remain highlighted and select the applicable causes to be dissociated from the current selection.
To hide selected causes click the Hide Selected Causes option in the Tools menu.
Individual causes and groups of causes removed from the workspace display are replaced with the words HIDDEN CAUSES.
To restore specific causes, select the HIDDEN CAUSES text to open the Hidden Causes window letting you choose which causes remain hidden and which are shown again.
To restore all hidden causes to the workspace view, select Expand All Causes in the Tools menu.
